Obituary of Ann Merritt

Resident of Prospect Ann Merritt, age 68, of Prospect and former life long resident of Bridgeport, died on Friday, April 20, 2007 at Waterbury Hospital. She was born on September 14, 1938 in Bridgeport, a daughter of the late Louis and Biagina Tomasiello. Mrs. Merrit was a communicant of St. Augustine Cathedral in Bridgeport for over 30 years where she was a cook at the rectory. Survivors include her daughters Kelly Frechette and her husband Paul and Kimberly Merritt all of Beacon Falls; three brothers Salvatore Tomasiello of Stratford, Louis Tomasiello and Joseph Tomasiello both of Florida; a sister, Marie Thornhill of Fairfield and three grandchildren Jonathan, Kristie and Ryan. She was predeceased by a brother Carmen Tomasiello. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Augustine Cathedral, 359 Washington Ave., Bridgeport, on Friday, April 27 at 10:00 a.m. for a Memorial Mass. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
