Obituary of John F. McLoughlin

Trumbull Resident John F. McLoughlin, age 91, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Camille Casey McLoughlin, died peacefully on Wednesday April 14, 2010 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on May 25, 1918, he was a son of the late Terrence and Elizabeth Gill McLoughlin and was a WW II U.S. Army veteran. He was a retired compositor for Bridgeport Post Newspaper. Mr. McLoughlin was active at the Monroe and Trumbull senior centers and enjoyed playing pinochle. He was predeceased by his first wife, Elizabeth Sullivan McLoughlin, three brothers, Thomas, Jim and Terrence McLoughlin and a sister, Mary Tyer. In addition to his wife Camille of 44 years, survivors include his brother in law, William Tyer of Bridgeport and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull on Friday, April 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery, Stratford. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, Trumbull.
