Obituary of Joan Ann Forte

Resident of Newtown Joan Ann DeLucia Forte, age 78, of Newtown and formerly of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Mario M. Forte, died on Sunday, September 30, 2012 in St. Vincents Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on July 24, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary DeLucia. A graduate of Central High School, Joan was formerly employed by Connecticut National Bank. She was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother who dedicated herself to the love and care of her family. She will be deeply missed. Survivors include her loving sons, Michael Forte of Newtown and Robert Heid and his wife, Sue Ann of Monroe, three grandchildren, Tennille, Derek and Dylan, two great grandchildren, Thomas and Samuel; four brothers, Frank DeLucia, Leonard Topar and his wife Deborah, all of Fairfield, Albert DeLucia and Joseph DeLucia and his wife Louise, all of Trumbull; a sister Phyllis Homa and her husband Mark of Shelton, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother Michael Topar. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery of Easton. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
