Obituary of Nina Marini

Nina (Sebastiana) Magliocco Marini, age 92, of Bridgeport, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at St. Vincents Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Benedetto Marini. Born in Arnara, Province of Frosinone, Italy on January 22, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Maria Magliocco. Mrs. Marini was a former employee of the Panettieri Shirt Company. She loved cooking and entertaining for her family and found great enjoyment gardening. Survivors include her son, Frank Marini and his wife Fiona of Easton, a daughter-in-law, Anna Marini of Monroe, a brother, Benedetto Magliocco of Italy, eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Benedetto, she was also predeceased by two sons, Constantino Gus Marini and Guarino Rick Marini, a brother, Dominic Magliocco and a sister, Anita Fiori. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in St. Michael Garden Mausoleum, Stratford.
