Obituary of Michael P. Lynch

City of Stamford Police Sergeant Michael P. Lynch, age 56, of Bridgeport, a police sergeant for the City of Stamford with 29 years of service, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, September 14, 2006. Born in Stamford on December 24, 1949, he was a son of the late Dr. William and Doris Albert Lynch. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Margaret McGowan Lynch, a daughter, Mary Lynch of Stratford, two sons, Kevin Lynch and his wife, Erin of Bridgeport and Daniel Lynch of Bridgeport, two brothers, Christopher Lynch and his wife, Kathy of Trumbull and Patrick Lynch and his wife, Heidi of Easton, two sisters, Lisa Moriarty and her husband, Jim of Virginia and Claudia Cingari and her husband, Joe of Stamford, two uncles, Robert Lynch and his wife, Barbara and Gerard Albert and his wife, Laura, all of Stamford, his father-in-law, Thomas McGowan of Milford, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Road, Trumbull on Monday, September 18, 2006 at 10 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
