Obituary of Douglas A. Boyle Sr.

Douglas A. Boyle Sr., age 67, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Born in New Rochelle, New York, he was a son of the late Donald William Boyle and Ethelmae Marjorie Boyle. A graduate of Bryant University Class of 1978, Doug earned a Bachelor's degree in accounting. He went on to work in the field for many years after he graduated. Most recently he was a consultant for the Robert Half Agency and was passionate about both his work and the people he came to know.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed camping, loved to work in his garden; from which he would make his famous hot chili. He took great pride in supporting his children and loved coaching their youth baseball, softball and football teams. He was a New York Jets fan and enjoyed watching games with family and friends.

Above all he was a dedicated and loving father. The values he taught and the unconditional love he gave will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his three cherished and adored children, Douglas A. Boyle Jr., Christina Boyle and James Boyle, a sister, Deborah Ann Fleet and her husband Bary. He was predeceased by two brothers, William E. Boyle and Kenneth S. Boyle.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 20th from 4 – 7 p.m. at Abriola Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. The burial will be private.
