Obituary of Alexandrine Louis

Alexandrine Louis, age 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 4, 2024 at St. Vincent's Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 53 years to Augustin Louis. Born in Haiti on July 16, 1943, she was a longtime Bridgeport resident. Alexandrine's greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and hosting family dinners and holiday gatherings. She will be remembered by her generosity, her kindness, and her great faith in Jesus. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all the people she touched throughout her life. In addition to her beloved husband Augustin, survivors include her five loving children, Joseph Louis, Stanley Louis, Alexandra Louis, Dyland Louis and Ernst Louis, a brother, Jean-Baptiste and four cherished grandchildren, Aliyah, Devon, Jordan and Sanae as well as many nieces, nephews, and very close friends. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. On Saturday morning the family will gather from 8:30 to 9:30 at the funeral home prior to a graveside service that will take place at 10:45 a.m. in Lawncroft Cemetery, 1740 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield.
