From Bev,
Annie was my aunt, but really my sister and life long bestie. She was a selfless giver with a big heart for all.
She played with all the cousins; picking wild raspberries, walking on logs at the creek, running around in the woods, playing games in the backyard and Pokeno on the enourmously long picnic table that grampa built under his grape arbor.
She was a duplicate of Gramma; with a heart of gold; very loving, kind, thoughtful and animated with joy to be with you.
She was a role model as I watched her grow into a teen and woman.
I shared her joys and sorrows. I clearly remember her wedding and going straight to the hospital to see her and her first baby Tracey.
Oh how she loved her girls. They were her everything. She dressed them so beautifully for holidays. Her stellar aspirations for them came to fruition as each one has a career in service to others.
Annie and I shared a time period of being mother's together.
I had moved out of the area, but whenever I visited our connection never missed a beat.
When our kids married and had their own kids I would come and have one on one times with her. She gave me a tour of her beautiful garden each time as well as all her talented home update projects.
It was so great to talk and laugh about everything. One visit we drove to Seaside Park to look at the full moon and we shared our bucket lists. One of hers that has always stayed with me was her wish to volunteer at a hospital to hold methadone babies.
She had such a deep loving heart to take care of others.
My heart goes out to her daughters, Tracey, Kelly, Missy and DeeDee, her siblings and grandchildren, son inlaws and all the extended family and friends. May her memories be blessings of comfort
My dear Annie I miss you but know some day we'll be together again.

Aunt Annie,
The Aunt everyone wished they had, the grandmother every kids wants, the person to look up to, the woman every girl strives to be, but most of all, the mom who raised 4 beautiful girls and couldn’t have done it any better! Your legacy lives on through everyone you’ve touched. I, for one will miss seeing your face, but the memories of you will get me through, always. Much love

Although I only knew Annie for a few years, I could feel the goodness in her heart. There come people in your life who you meet that you immediately know that you love and Annie was one of them to me. She had a smile that simply sparkled and a loving, sweet personality. I shall miss this lovely lady very much. Til we meet again. I send my deepest condolences to her family and friends and pray for your strength during this very difficult time.

Aunt Annie was only two years older than me and was one of my best childhood friends. My family spent a lot of summer evenings at the house and Annie would take me around the neighborhood with her girlfriends or there would be a neighborhood hide and seek. She was protective of me and we had a lot of fun.
I am so sorry we have lost her so soon! She was so loving and caring, with such a big heart, like her Mom. I hope your cherished memories of your time with her may give you comfort in your grief! Love, Joyce Amoroso Chalfin

Her famous meatballs indeed! Last summer at her house I convinced her to let me make them for her..promising I would follow her directions exactly. And I did, under her watchful eye. When it came to frying each and every one of them slowly and perfectly I thought I would lose my mind.
I suggested she go outside and relax in her sunroom while I finished up.
I turned on the oven to 450 and baked the rest as I usually did with mine and quickly put them in the gravy.
But just then …
She walked in …
She looked at the dirty pan I roasted them on…she looked at me…said nothing …and walked out of the room!
We never spoke of it…but she never ate them either :)
