Obituary of Angelina P. Burout

Angelina Pauline Cominelli Burout, 93, of Hamden, formerly of Shelton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Connecticut Hospice. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles J. Burout, Jr.

Born in Barre, Massachusetts on April 30, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Giovanni and Bartolomea Poloni Cominelli. Angelina married the love of her life, Charles, on February 15, 1950 and they were together for 62 years. She enjoyed their fishing trips to Canada, tending to their vegetable garden and raising her family. She was a very talented cook and baker, loved to sing and dance and was an avid UCONN Huskies fan. Angelina loved spending time with her family and was an extremely caring and loving woman who will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her sister, Jennie Garofalo of Hamden; sons Charles J. Burout III and his wife MaryAnn of Bedford, New Hampshire and Christopher J. Burout, Sr. of Derby, Connecticut; three grandsons, Mathew, Andrew and Christopher, Jr. as well as several nieces and nephews.
