Obituary of Luzzaida Rodriguez Cruz

Luzzaida Rodriguez Cruz, age 54, of Warminster, PA entered eternal rest peacefully, on December 7, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Luzzaida, daughter of Harry Rodriguez and Luz Flores, was born on August 19, 1969, in Salinas, Puerto Rico. Formerly of Bridgeport, Connecticut, she resided in Warminster, PA for 30 years.

Luzzaida was the beloved wife of 30 years to Heriberto Cruz Jr. Luzzaida leaves to cherish her memory, her to two loving children Sasha Monique Collins and Heriberto Cruz III. Her mother, Luz Flores, and grandmother, Luz Garcia. Her devoted siblings, a sister, Griselle Rodriguez (Christopher White), and brother, Alberto Medina (Ana Medina), and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Angelica Morera and Miguel Rodriguez, and her maternal grandfathers, Juan C. Santiago, and Angel Garcia.

Luzzaida, also known as Liz, graduated from Bullard Havens in 1987 with a passion for fashion. She was a free spirited, courageous, genuine soul. Liz was a person who would never turn others away. She loved her family, children, and most importantly her puppy, Mia, and grand pup Nala. Liz loved summers in her pool, vacations on the beach, margaritas, dancing, making her special coquito, and loud car rides listening to reggaeton, salsa, and bachata. She loved to cook, bake, shop, and dress up. If something needed repair, she did not mind getting her hands dirty to help her husband. All Liz wanted was to live, love, and laugh with those around her. She was a God-fearing woman throughout all walks of life. She never gave up faith and always remained positive. Liz lit up the room effortlessly with her personality, laughter, and kindness.

All are welcome to attend a Funeral Service on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 10 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Easton. Friends may greet the family Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
