Dear John, may I express my deepest sympathies to you and your family over the loss of your wife. That was an impressive obituary you published about her and you can tell she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who had many interests and activities and who lived a good life and raised a nice family. She fought a good hard fight against her illness and you did the best you could in taking care of her. Cherish her memory by remembering many fond memories you shared with her especially all the trips you took with her. I sincerely hope that the love of family and friends carry you through this difficult time of sorrow.

When I was a grade school child in Bridgeport, Margaret (that is what she was called back then), and I were as thick as thieves. My BFF. We played all the free time we had. I would go to her house one school day per year and we were have lunch cooked by her grandmother. The BEST meal ever! A pasta dish to swoon over and a desert called, Squeeky Cheese. It would squeek when you ate it. Have thought of it all my life and never could find a recipe. I felt she was my other sister. Then she abruptly moved to Milford and my world sadly changed. But Margaret was never far from my heart. I loved her dearly. We were very much the same in spirit. And here I am, loosing her again. My heart is broken even though I haven't seen her in so long. Goodbye my best friend. I know we will meet again. John, you loved her so much. I envy you because you had the best heart in the entire world. I am so sorry for your loss.

John, David and Jennifer; so many memories for me growing up with Maggie. She always had a smile on her face and brought so much joy and laughter whenever we were together. She loved taking care of me when I was younger, she was my little mom to me. I can still hear her laughter and how it warmed my heart. As we got older, we drifted apart, but when we got together our bond we shared was still strong. A short poem for you guys written by my husband, it is so true of Maggie.
Within the echoes of this moment, my cousin has embraced God's cloak. She has touched the life of His presence and He has brought her home. She was dearly loved on earth by all and we will hold her memories in the warmest parts of our hearts forever.
Love you and miss you Maggie.
