Obituary of Fernanda A. Pereira

Fernanda A. Pereira, age 77, of Trumbull, CT, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 9, 2023. Born in Maços, Chaves, Portugal on November 9, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Candido and Candida Pereira. Fernanda was a retired employee of Dooney & Bourke. She was a loving and caring sister and aunt. She enjoyed time with family and will be deeply missed by all.

Survivors include her two brothers, Armando Pereira and his wife Emilia J. Pereira and Candido Pereira and his wife Emilia Pereira both of Portugal, two sisters, Maria Augusta Barreira of Trumbull, and Saozinha Sequeira and her husband Armando of Portugal, sisters-in-law, Laura Pereira and Maria Pereira, brothers-in-law, Arnaldo Gomes, and Antonio Moreiras, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by three sisters, Maria Eugenia Almeida, Edite Gomes and Esmeralda Moreiras, and two brothers, Acaçio and Jose Pereira, and brother-in-law, Norberto Barreira.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 16, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. directly in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 429 Huntington Rd., Bridgeport. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
