Obituary of Gloriana Tardie

Gloriana (Carbone) Tardie, 57, of Newtown passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle.

Born in Bridgeport on February 28, 1966 she was the daughter of the late Peter J. and Gloria (Borgognone) Carbone. Gloriana was the owner and President of P.C. Metals, Inc, of Bridgeport, which she ran tirelessly since the age of 16, and through which she built many friendships. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, aunt and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Ken, to whom she was married for 28 years, and her loving children, Weston and Tanner Tardie, as well as several nieces and nephews and her dogs whom she loved so dearly and deeply.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. meet directly in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post Rd., Fairfield. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Fairfield.
