Obituary of Ralph Donald Mastrony

Ralph Donald Mastrony, age 77, of Stratford, beloved husband of Donna Rose Caschetto Mastrony, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 27, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport on April 2, 1945, he was a son of the late Dominic and Clara Capasso Mastrony.

A U.S. Army veteran, Ralph graduated from Marist College and earned his master's degree from Fairfield University. He was a consummate human resources professional who traversed several area manufacturing plants and spent the majority of his career as the VP of Human Resources at Acme United Corporation. After retiring, Ralph proudly continued to share his expertise with his cousins at Pascap Company Inc., in New York. His true joy in life was being with his family and watching all his grandchildren play sports.

In addition to his beloved wife of 50 years, Donna, survivors include his two loving children, Dena O'Neill and her husband Matt and Paul Mastrony and his wife Danielle Albert, cherished grandchildren Kacie Hanna (Jared) and Ashley O'Neill, Nathan Mastrony and Tyler Harding of Florida, Great-grandson Grayson Hanna and brothers Charles and Donald, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Rd., Trumbull. Interment with Military Honors will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
