Obituary of Barbara C. Puglio

Barbara C. DePalma Puglio, age 86, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of Robert T. Puglio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 9, 2022 with her loving family by her side. Born in the Bronx, New York on April 15, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Ralph J. and Sally Modres DePalma.

Barbara loved to travel with her family and enjoyed bowling, knitting and stitching. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She valued spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. The unconditional love she gave and the values she taught will forever live in their hearts. Barbara will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her beloved husband of 60 years, Robert, survivors include, two loving daughters, Cathleen DiGirolamo and her husband Gustavo and Sheri Francoeur and her husband Scott, three cherished grandchildren, Giovanni and Nico DiGirolamo and Brittany Francoeur, two brothers, Ralph DePalma and his wife Sandy and John DePalma, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
