Obituary of Richard Brown

Richard Brown, age 76, of Easton, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2022 at home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Judith Podemski Brown. Born in Bridgeport on November 27, 1945, he was a son of the late Raymond and Mary (Edwards) Brown and was a longtime resident of Easton.

Richard was a licensed electrician and the owner and operator of Ray Brown and Sons Electric for over 40 years before his retirement. He was a past president of the FCEA, the Fairfield County Electrical Association and in his retirement volunteered at the Beardsley Zoo. He loved fishing, and was often found in the yard gardening and tending to his flowers. His greatest joy came from spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The memories of him will live in their hearts forever.

In addition to his beloved wife Judy of 53 years, survivors include two loving sons, Christopher Brown and his fiancé Lindsey of Stratford, David Brown and his wife Jennifer of Ellington, three cherished grandchildren, Kyla May Brown, Macy Lynn Brown and Benjamin Brown as well as Lindsey's daughters, Josie and Katie.
