Obituary of Maria D. Jose

Maria Dias Jose, age 93, of Bridgeport passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of late Fernando Jose. Born in Sao Bras de Alportel, Algarve, Portugal on October 2, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Martins Dias and Julianna Dias.

Her greatest enjoyment was found in the time she spent surrounded by her loving family. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her loving children, Lourdes Arsenault and Jorge Dias, her cherished grandchildren, Nancy Vendetto and her husband Mark, Marlena Dias, Julianna Dias and Christopher Dias, as well as her special niece, Paula Monsalve.

All funeral services were held privately for the immediate family and burial was held in Huntington Lawn Cemetery South. Arrangements were entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, Trumbull.
