Obituary of Ronald W. Eastwood

Ronald W. Eastwood, age 64, of Bridgeport passed away peacefully on Friday, June 17, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport on August 14, 1957 he was the son of Margo Corey Dudas and the late Arthur Eastwood. Ronald was an electrician by trade and was the owner and operator of Eastwood Electric for many years. He was a member of the King Hiram Lodge 12 of Shelton, former member of the Danbury Rod and Reel Club and the Eastern Packard Club. Those who had the pleasure of knowing Ron knew he always lived his life to the fullest whether it be riding motorcycles, Formula 1 racing, fishing, music, dancing or the many, many concerts he attended.

In addition to his mother and partner, Diane Simmons, survivors include his sister, Cathy Gervais and her husband Michael, his stepson, Eric Simmons, his niece, Nicole Gervais and his nephew, Michael Gervais, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends. He is also predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Lillis Corey, and his paternal grandparents, Arthur and Emily Eastwood.

Friends may greet the family on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. A Masonic service will conclude the visitation at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ron’s memory may be made to the King Hiram Lodge #12, P.O. Box 282, Shelton, CT 06484-0282.
