Obituary of Ann Marie Forte

Ann Marie Ferrarese Forte, age 88, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Lord Chamberlain with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Baldo Forte as well as her first husband the late Ralf Ferrarese. Born in East Stroudsburg, PA on April 4, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Blake) Foote.

Ann was a graduate of Bassick High School and was an electrical assembler for many years before her retirement. She was an avid quilter, and enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Her greatest joys came from spending time with her family, especially at the holidays. She will be missed by all her family and friends.

Survivors include her four loving children, Diane Shiel (William), Ralph Ferrarese, Thomas Ferrarese and Cheryl Nickerson (David), a sister, Alma Brands, a sister-in-law, Betty Foote, along with two step children, Thomas Violante (Cheryl) and Sandra Schumauderer (Steve), seven grandchildren, Ralph (Chip) Ferrarese Jr., Marisa Asarisi (Chuck), Gina Buzi (Chris), Kristin Ferrarese (Justin Lawson), Brian Ferrarese, Ryan Shiel and Laura Szondy (Matthew) and four cherished great grandchildren, Angelina, Ben, Madeline and Emilia as well as several nieces, nephews and step grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Robert, Frank and James Foote and sisters, June Possinger and Barbara DeBiase.

Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may greet the family on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
