I personally didn’t know your parents. I had read about them in the paper. What a horrible way to loose both parents right around the holidays. I am deeply sorry for the passing of your parents, may they be at peace. And may the memories you all have of your parents, be saved in yours hearts, and cherish them as years go by. My deepest sympathy for such a wonderful couple as Jim and Barbara. I worked with Jim at Emson Research for only eight months, but I remember them both as if it was just yesterday. We hit if off so well that I visited them at their home, and he came to my home too. We both owned the same Wheel Horse tractors, but of course as he was such a smart engineer, his was far better than mine. It’s very obvious they touched many in their lives with love and kindness. I can’t even begin to tell you how much Jim and Barb are already missed at the Shelton Community Center pool. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays we spent a wonderful hour or so just visiting with them as we paddled around the pool. Currently, due to the pandemic, there were just the four of us in the pool at that early hour. Marshall and Jim settled all worldly issues and enjoyed sports topics as well as a few jokes. Barb and I recently discussed Christmas baking plans and exchanged some treasured recipes for cookies and cakes. The reason we would arrive at the pool so early, @ 7am, was because we knew Jim and Barb would already be there to greet us! Our thoughts are with you. Your folks often spoke of you all especially at holidays, they loved you very much and were proud of each and every one. They will not be forgotten. Marshall and Marilyn Dennis

So sorry for your loss.. I worked with your Mom close to 20 years ago.. Although I never met your Dad, we all felt like we did thru your Mom.. I last saw her in the fall of last year at our “girls from the office” get together at Jones Winery which is the picture attached.. She was a wonderful person which we have so many wonderful memories with. Again, so sorry for your loss.
