Obituary of Lucille Memoli

Lucille DeMarco Memoli, age 94, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Angelo C. Memoli, passed away early Friday morning, November 26, 2021 at St. Vincent Medical Center after succumbing to COVID. Born in Bridgeport on August 5, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Diane Verrilli DeMarco.

Mrs. Memoli was active in St. Theresa Church, starting the Rosary in the 1960's, and writing the church newsletter. Later she served as Trustee to the church and in 2010 received the St. Augustine Medal with her husband Angelo, for their years of service.

A loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother she will be greatly missed.

In addition to her husband Angelo, she was predeceased by her son, Mark Alan Memoli and two brothers, Daniel DeMarco and Rev. Peter DeMarco.

Survivors include her four children, Paul Memoli and David Memoli, both of Bridgeport, John Memoli of Alpharetta, Georgia and Mary Memoli Gilbertson and her fiancé Robert Ambrose Jr., of Trumbull, five grandchildren, Jonathan, Abbey, Julia, Josh and Justin, a great grandson, John Angelo, sister-in-law, Lucille DeMarco of Shelton, and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A prayer service will follow at 12:30 p.m.
