Dear Rich and Mark, It has been awhile since we have last seen each other, but my sister, Linda, and I want to extend our sincerest condolences with respect to the passing away of your father. We remember that, when our father passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, your father was so generous with his time in helping our mother deal with the large garden she had inherited. We are descendants of hard workers, but your father always stood out as one of the hardest workers we have ever seen, always ready to help others. In addition to his work ethic, we also fondly remember his uncanny sense of humor. There are a number of humorous memories, but there is one in particular that we would like to share. We're at a wedding reception -- it must have been about 40 years ago -- and hors d'oeuvres are being served. The hors d'oeuvres are completely vegetarian. Your father turns to our father, and says "What are we, rabbits?" It's been nearly 40 years, and we still laugh at that line. A toast to your father -- a great example of a life well lived. Our sincere and deepest condolences to the family. We have many years of wonderful memories of seeing Michele on Folino Drive and at the Circolo Sportivo club. He always had a smile and always made us laugh. He was always a hard working person and a great friend and neighbor to have known. He will be dearly missed. Rest In Peace Michele.
