Obituary of Loulou A. Canaan

Loulou A. Canaan, age 62, of Trumbull, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Lebanon on May 16, 1959, she was a daughter of the late Anis Canaan and Margueritte Abou Sleiman. 

Loulou studied graphic design and graduated from Sacred Heart University. She spent her career working in advertising doing what she loved.  She was free spirited, fun, loving, and caring daughter, sister and aunt.  She loved performance theater and took every opportunity to see a musical, play, and the opera.  She enjoyed traveling, and loved staying active and spending time with family, playing with her grand nieces and spoiling them.  When she’s home you’ll find her working in the yard or reading a book.  She was a handy woman and enjoyed all aspects of life.

She will be dearly missed by her four beloved siblings, Helen Hajjar, Emil Canaan, Edma Canaan and Shirley Canaan, a loving niece and nephew, Dolly Antoun and her husband Elie and Rabih Hajjar and his wife Raghida and five cherished great nieces and nephews, Zoe, Ella, Elias, Sienna and Angelo and many cousins to include her beloved Goddaughter CC Wilfert.

All funeral services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd. , Trumbull.
