Obituary of Theresa Kowalski

Trumbull Resident KOWALSKI Theresa Pillar Kowalski, age 67, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Lawrence Kowalski, died on Friday, December 22, 2007 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Nanticoke, PA on June 24, 1940, she was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Soltis Pillar. Before her illness she was a secretary for almost 20 years at Sacred Heart University. She was a member of the St. Theresa Church Confraternity, Trumbull. Survivors include two brothers, Joseph Pillar of Trumbull, John Pillar of Roseland, FL; two sisters, Betty Onofreo and her husband John of Trumbull, Anna Stec of Fairfield, two nieces, Lisa Floridia of Monroe, Lynda Mariotti of Bridgeport; eight nephews, Anthony Onofreo and his wife Pamela of Middlefield, John Onofreo and his wife Theresa of Trumbull, John Stec of Washington State, Alan, Martin, and Jay Pillar all of Torrington, Michael and Joseph Stromsky both of Oxford and many grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by a brother, J. Cyril Pillar and a sister Mary Stromsky. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull on Thursday, December 27, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
