I am so saddened to read about Ron’s passing. Please accept our heartfelt condolences. I have known Ron since 1965 as an undergraduate at Fairfield University. I had the privilege of working for him after attending graduate school as assistant Director of resident students. I cannot offer enough accolades of what a kind, generous and Christian gentleman that Ron personified. We stayed in touch over the years while he was working at Saint Vincent Hospital in Bridgeport and I was a long term care administrator on Long Island. I was privileged to participate in the fundraising swim across the sound as well as we we joined forces once again. Rest In Peace, my friend.

Dearest Lynette, I was so very saddened to learn of Ron's death. So many treasured memories we share from our early years beginning with your engagement, when we were all just starting out. Ron was without equal in his gentle, kind, generous ways. He was a quiet soldier for good. You were a powerful team together. Dear Lynn, I have so many memories of Ron over the years. He was a true gentleman and friend to me during the years I volunteered in the Auxiliary and the Gift Shop. He was my "go to" person when I needed help. The Swim Across the Sound is his legacy to the community. Ron will be remembered by all those whose lives he touched with kindness over the years. As a long time member of SVMC Radiology under both Dr. Russo Sr. and Jr., I worked with Ron for many years and was very sorry to read if his passing. My heartfelt sympathy to the entire family. Ron was one of the nicest people that I knew during my time at SVMC. I am sure he will have a place of honor in heaven for all his good works. God bless you all. Mary Ann Gallo Massa

Anyone working in the healthcare industry in Connecticut that came in contact with Ron as I did, can attest to what a classy, kind, and intelligent individual he was. His work at St. Vincent's is legendary and they were fortunate to have him as were all of us who met him. Condolences to the his family, friends, and the St. Vincent's community.
