Mike was a great leader of our band, "Third Inversion", and an accomplished guitar player. More than that Mike was a good friend and a kind, warm person. So sad to hear this news. Brought me back to St. Josephs Elementary school and the variety shows we organized with Mike and Robert playing and many of us singing. Lots of rehearsals at my house which was a quick stroll away from St. Josephs. Saw him a few years ago. Sorry we couldn’t keep up visiting. Time flies; Rest In Peace Mike. You were one of the good ones!

Mike was the guitarist and leader of the first ever band I played in "The Third Inversion". It was a special band. We weren't just bandmembers, we were great friends. When we weren't gigging, we'd bowl a few times a week at Nutmeg, and if we didn't have a gig on Friday night we'd hit Ho Jo's for their all you can eat clam strip dinner. If you knew him, you knew what a gentle kind person he was. RIP Mike. Larry Benigno
