Obituary of Rosemarie Lindine

Rosemarie Chiappetta Lindine, age 85, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late August (Gus) Lindine, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at her home. Born in Greenwich, on September 26, 1935, she was a daughter of the late James and Adeline Garafolo Chiappetta.

Rosemarie grew up in Greenwich and was a longtime resident of Mamaroneck, New York before settling in Trumbull, CT. Before her retirement, she was a school nurse at Mamaroneck Avenue School. Rosemarie was also very active in many civic and church organizations. Throughout her life, she was always willing to offer a kind and caring hand to others. She especially treasured her role as grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her four children, Gus Lindine (Linda), Fran Henning (Scott), James Lindine (Jennifer) and Carrie Smalley (Richard), eight grandchildren, Kelly Schiels (Dan), Casey Clough (Matt), Brian and Mark Henning, Jimmy and Melissa Lindine, and Sean and Thomas Smalley, four great grandchildren, Rowan, Charlie, Flynn and Caroline; a brother, James Chiappetta and his wife Alice of Riverside, CT as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, June 28, 2021 at noon directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for Prader Willi Research www.fpwr.org and the International OCD Foundation www.iocdf.org.
