Obituary of Cynthia Morris

Cynthia Morris, age 81, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Frank Lenford Morris, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Born on May 8, 1939 in Brandon Hill, St. Andrew, Jamaica, she was a daughter of the late Valentine Mclaren and Hilda Abigail Gilroy.

Survivors include her loving children, Jean Morris, Antoinette Murray, Keith Morris, Marcia Morris, Fay Morris, Carl Morris, Michael Morris and Lorna Morris, Siblings, Bunny, Cecil, Herman and Andrew McLaren, Aston Gilroy, and Vi, Valda and Marcia McLaren, as well as 27 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cathedral of Faith Church of God, 2319 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport. Interment will follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Due to the concerns at this time associated with social gatherings, all other funeral services were held privately for the immediate family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
