Obituary of Sherrie Magliocco

Sherrie Vrabel Magliocco, age 56, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Domenico V. Magliocco, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 12, 2021. Born in Bridgeport on May 1, 1964, she was a daughter of Valerie Vitro Vrabel of Shelton and the late Stephen R. Vrabel.

Sherrie worked for many years as a hostess and waitress at Vazzy's of Stratford; where she truly enjoyed meeting many people and making lifelong friends. She enjoyed entertaining at home and cooking for family and friends. But above all she treasured her time spent with her daughter Alexandra. The unconditional love she gave and the memories they created will live in her heart forever. Sherrie was a loving mother, daughter and sister, who will be deeply missed.

In addition to her beloved mother Valerie, survivors include her cherished and adored daughter Alexandra Marie DeMarco and her husband Brandon of Poughkeepsie, NY, a sister, Donna Vrabel of Stratford, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. She was predeceased by a sister Janice Vrabel.

Due to the concerns at this time associated with social gatherings, all funeral services and interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull were held privately for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
