Obituary of Robert E. Webb Jr.

Robert E. Webb, Jr., age 52, of Bridgeport, CT, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at his home. Born in Yonkers, NY on November 29, 1968, he was the son of Diane Guido (Menchen) of Bridgeport and Robert E. Webb, Sr. of Florida and was a longtime resident of Bridgeport.

Bob worked for many years serving customers at the Lockwood Luncheonette in Yonkers, NY before going on to become a police officer with the Yonkers Police Department. His greatest enjoyment came from helping others. He was always willing to lend a hand to family, friends and neighbors. Bob was also a long-time, avid sports fan and die hard NY Yankees and Oakland Raiders fan. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, survivors include a brother, Thomas Webb of Bridgeport, a sister, Lisa Strickrodt and her husband Henry of Newtown, an aunt, Elizabeth Menchen and a cherished niece, Olivia as well as many cousins and close friends. He was predeceased by his step-father, Anthony J. Guido, Jr.

A walk-through visitation will take place on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 4 – 6 pm at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull, CT. Visitors are asked to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects, and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through the building.
