Obituary of Jean Wojchik
Jean Bonitatibus Wojchik was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. Jean was born on 6/23/30 to the late Rosario and Gaetanina Monaco Bonitatibus. After high school, she became a Hair Stylist, Instructor and was co-owner with her husband of Mademoiselles Beauty Salon.
Jean is pre-deceased by per parents, her husband, John Wojchik, her daughter, Susan Wojchik, her sisters; Carmella Nicosia, Violet Russo, and Bianca Franchi.
She is survived by her daughters, Lorraine Wojchik, Jean Wojchik-Zaleski, spouse David Zaleski, her granddaughter. Michelle Forbotnick, spouse Daniel Forbotnick, and her great-grandchildren, Maya Dias, Ava Dias, and Daniel Forbotnick.
Jean loved spending time with her family, playing the piano, and listening to Christian Music. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
We want to thank Loretta Laca (caregiver), nurses, caregivers, and staff from Constellation Hospice for taking care of her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Face masks and social distancing will be required at all times.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 200 Executive Blvd, Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, Trumbull and online condolences may be left by visiting us at www.abriola.com.
