John was one of a kind. One of the sweetest people I have had the pleasure to meet. I will miss seeing him at our loading dock picking up boxes of fruit for resale at his store. He always had a smile. I so much enjoyed talking a little bit of politics and 'life' with him during his harvest time visits. Sincerest thoughts of healing to his family.

This is from Andrea [Chacho] Brady, daughter of Frank and Elaine Chacho. "JP" as he was known in my family was always a huge part of my dad's life, and by extension, my own. He always remembered how much I loved the apple cider donuts and plants - so he often sent my dad home with gifts from JP to me. Although I did not get the chance to spend much time with him in person, his lifelong friendship with my dad is an inspiration to me. The picture I uploaded is one my dad has printed out on his desk. I am so grateful to all of my dad's friends who always made me feel welcome and who continue to stay in touch with me; it is a connection with my wonderful childhood growing up. This crazy little girl who followed her dad around everywhere and could never get enough of being with the grown-ups who always seemed to be having a good time no matter what they were working on will forever miss one of the true highlights of her life.

I don’t know if you remember me my Maiden name was Rosemary Halapin we lived in the big White House down the street.
When my dad passed away I would take my mom to the cemetery and always stop by and have a chat or two. He Always asked about my family. I know that he will truly be missed.
John would talk to my husband about us growing up .
I know that he is in heaven singing alleluia .
Please know that you all will be in our prayers and you can have comfort knowing that he is safely in Jesus arms.

Dear Pauline, John & Lisa I am shocked to hear the news of John's passing. I was just with him on November 4th at the voting place Hillcrest School. Pauline, John and I all voted together, we sat and chatted for awhile and he looked great. My heart goes out to Pauline, John and Lisa what a special man he was. John and my Dad were great friends for many years and he always talked about my Dad. My thoughts and prayers go out to the whole family. John, Rest In Peace you will be missed by all.
God Blessed. Fondly, Sandra Casano Terebesi

To Mrs. Plasko, John and Lisa,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you always. We will all miss Mr. Plasko. Truly a wonderful gentleman with a grand smile!
My last memory of him was at the farm when he drove the tractor around the corn maze with my niece whom was visiting from NY city that day. She had such a wonderful time! Thank you Mr. Plasko for making a little girl laugh and enjoy her hay ride.
You will always be a blessing to your family and those of us that knew you.
With our deepest sympathy and
May God Bless the Plasko Family,
Scott and Suzette Forrester

We first met John Plasko at the Greenwich Farmers Market and became fast friends. Scott and John both served in the military and were dedicated patriots. Saturday mornings were full of conversations on all sorts of topics, and joke telling! We made multiple trips to Plasko's Farm where we were treated to tours of John's many collections of cars, planes, fascinating memorabilia, and of course, the Farm including all the fields, green houses, the Maze, and his delicious ice cream! We also shared a deep love for our families, our friends, our faith, and food!
John was a true gentleman, kind, thoughtful, curious, generous, ingenious, creative, interesting, and interested in others. He epitomized the Best of the Greatest Generation. He had a heart full of JOY and his death leaves a big hole in our hearts.
We are grateful to have been friends...we will never forget John, we will miss his smile and twinkling eyes.
With love and prayers for the Plasko family.

John and I became great friends over the past decades. Long conversations about the farm, plants, world affairs and especially trucks and fast cars. Never one to sit for long, he was a dynamo always working on a project. I'll miss him lots. My condolences to his family.

Greenwich Farmer's Market, Fall 2020. John Plasko, Debbie Steele, Chris Rossi and 2 of John's favorite pups, Grady & Jake. John loved those two and they loved him back.
John was so dear to me and the Market will never be the same.
