I am so saddened to learn of Barbara's passing. I got to know her through lunches with The Red Hats. She and I talked of our respective nursing careers. She was a very kind and thoughtful woman. I am glad to have shared time and stories with her. I wish you, her family, my condolence in your time of grief. Susan Gustafson

Barbara’s presence will be greatly missed. She was a leader , she was always there to guide and help...whether it be family , friends or work. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, a true friend and a loving and caring nurse. Thank you, Barbara for being such a sincere and loving friend to my mom , Norene! Thank you for always being so kind and loving to my family. Words are never enough to express feelings at times like these. You are in a better place now with friends and family . You and my mom can have great conversations and adventures once again! God bless you , Fred , Michael , Sean , Brian and Family . May the Holy Spirit bring peace to you all . We were friends for 67 years. She was Godmother to one of my children. When we were young we shared many vacations together, skiing up at Whiteface mountain and water skiing on Lake George. Many happy times. I will miss her dearly

Fred, Michael, Sean and Brian...what can I say that hasn’t already been said? Barbara was a wonderful person whom I had the pleasure of knowing for 40+ years. All the get togethers at Val and Adele’s, the parties at the Portuguese club and seeing all the boys grow into fine men. You will be missed by all who knew you. Rest In Peace dear friend!
