To Deanna and the entire Carroll/Bradshaw family,
We were so sorry to hear about the passing of your dear Father. I am sure it is a very difficult time for all of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Please express our sympathy to Art, Meredith, Leslie and AJ. May knowing that he is with your mom give you peace and may the fact that he is sharing his countless baseball stats with those in heaven make you smile. I am sure his favorite teams will be grateful in the future for his divine intervention.
Love,
Nancy, Brian, Emily and Alec Lessard

My condolence to Deanna and Fran Jr. What a wonderful gentle man your dad was and dear friend to my dad and our family.. A student of the game of baseball, Mr. Carroll loved it, respected it, and shared it with so many of us fortunate kids. The memories of the summer of "77 for the Trumbull American Legion team are everlasting. "Franny" and "Joe" built a team with kids from different schools and made a family out of it that summer. A bunch of kids from Fairfield County playing the game the way it should be and having a helluva lot of fun along the way. Whenever I run into my old teammates, we reminisce like it was yesterday. The stories, always ending with a lot of smiles and laughter. Coach was our leader and kept us just enough in line to avoid disaster. Thank you Coach for your friendship and a lifetime of giving to the kids in connecticut. May you rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to the family. Your dad was a loyal friend for many years.
We kept in contact thru the years by talking to each other on the phone. Your
dad talked about the good times his brother and my husband Joe would have
growing up. They all were very close. I also listen to your dad tell me how proud
he was of his family. He would tell me also about his grandchildren and what they
accomplished, you could tell by his voice the pride he was feeling. Your dad is
now in haven with the love of his life. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers
to his family Willa Uzarski

Mr Carroll was a great friend of my dad Joe Uzarski & mom Willa and family. This was one of the most kindest man someone could meet as a youngster that I was along with my brother Joe and sister Diane. He has been a life long friend of our family and will be sadly missed by us. I’m saddened that we all can’t be there for the services because Fran was a great friend in our lives. My condolences to all his family.. Jeff Uzarski

My sincere condolences to the Carroll family.
As a young man I had the good fortune to play on a couple of teams with Mr. Carroll and Uncle Joe. They knew their stuff and were most generous in sharing that knowledge with us. A little later in life Mr. Carroll would tease me about getting old when I offered I was now playing softball instead of baseball. He did it with a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face.
Much later in life he and I would solve the problems of the world in our conversations held in the parking lot of Stop & Shop. From national events to local politics no issue was too tough for us to discuss and recommend a solution ... I enjoyed those times when I would run into him.
Mr. Carroll was one of the good guys ... he will be missed but remembered fondly.I was lucky to have known him.
All my best to his family ....
Regards,
Brenden McDonough

My sincere condolences to my good friend Fran and the entire Carroll Family. Fran Sr. was the salt of the Earth. He always greeted you with a warm smile and a kind word and his wry humor could keep you laughing endlessly! Such a beautiful, wonderful man. I have such fond memories of him and I know they'll always make me grin. God Bless.
