Aunt Rosemary, Denise, Michelle, and Regina and the entire family, we're so sorry for your loss. It may sound cliched but I really mean it when I say I'm proud to have known Uncle Tim. You couldn't find a more kindhearted and optimistic person. I loved running into him at Home Depot or hearing from Amy how she ran into Uncle Tim and Aunt Rosemary at Shoprite. It always seemed like he was in a good mood and we always came away from these meetings cheered up. I loved all of the days of going to cookouts when we were kids and seeing my uncles. And when the family started really growing and we didn't get together as often, I still always looked forward to spending some time talking to Uncle Tim on Christmas Eve at Aunt Carol and Uncle Tony's. One of the last times we got to sit and talk, I made a joke about me being short and he wouldn't hear it. I was just making a self deprecating joke but as a big man, he wouldn't let me feel small and I really appreciated it. What a blessing it has been to have him in our lives.

I will fondly remember Uncle Tim as being full of enthusiasm. Anytime he greeted you it was always with a big “hello”, a kiss and a hug. He was also very positive, never complained. You’d ask him how he was and his response was always “good”, even if he wasn’t feeling altogether fine. I will cherish these memories and many more of My Uncle/My Godfather.

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And the rain fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Rest in peace dear Uncle Tim...
