Obituary of Carol Louise Hewig

Carol Louise Hewig, age 81, of Trumbull, beloved wife of William G. Hewig, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 8, 2020 with her loving family by her side. Born in the Bronx, New York on January 1, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Thelma Goyette. Carol was a retired telephone operator for the New York Phone Company and was also a realtor.

Carol enjoyed playing scrabble and embroidery; but most of all she loved being with her family. She was cared for by her loving husband William and treasured their time together. Carol was grateful to her caregivers Eileen and Claire for their dedicated care and love shown to her.

In addition to her beloved husband William, whom she had been high school sweethearts with, other survivors include a daughter, Sarah Ann Kennedy, two grandchildren, Christopher Alan Kennedy and Cheyanne Nicole Williams, step children, Michael Hewig, Tammy Hewig, Heidi Profetty and her husband Steven and their children, and her sister, Joan Pascale and her husband Robert; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers-in-law, Henry Hewig and Frederick Hewig and his wife Rosemary.

Due to restrictions affecting us all at this time concerning social gatherings, all funeral services and interment will be held privately for the immediate family.
