When Joanne and I separated, George was gracious enough to let me stay in his home until I could find a place of my own. Erica would come and visit and we would sit around and play, read and talk and he always made us feel as if it was part our home too. I remember him getting home fairly late from work and more times than not, he would have fresh corn on the cob and tomatoes for dinner which he always said was his favorite thing. I truly enjoyed the time I got to spend there and I got to know George fairly well and am thankful for that time with him. He shared his knowledge of all kinds of subjects and I always thought how worldly and bright he was. He is now at peace and done with his struggles. My sympathies to his family who too, can now rest knowing he is safe and at peace!
