Denise, I’m so sad and sorry to hear about mom. My heart hurts for you. Losing my mom was the toughest experience of my life. Memories and history all flood your heart and mind and they seem not to stop. Not even for sleep or rest. I need to tell you...among all that sadness you were there to help us grieve, mourn and finally celebrate her life in grand fashion. I wish I could be there for you now the way you were for my family. I wish we could go out for another boat ride, drop a wreath, toast your mom, share some laughs, some tears, some hugs. Don’t ever think your kindness, acts of grace and sympathy went unnoticed. Those sweet memories are etched in my mind forever. And now whenever I go out to middle ground, I will think about both of our moms hanging out talking about their sweet daughters. I dearly miss you and hope maybe we can have coffee or wine and some big hugs on one of my upcoming trips to CT. Sending love from the entire Joyce Murphy family, Diana
