I had the pleasure of being friends with Alan during our years at Masuk. Having just read this sad news, I wanted to add to the other wonderful remembrances that he was one of the finest classmates one could have wished for. He was a rare combination of positivity, humility, and morality, and I have been thinking on him and your family for this past week since I read the announcement.
