Obituary of Margaret G. Cennamo

Margaret Gabriel Cennamo, age 93, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Nicholas J. Cennamo, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 1, 2019. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Donatoccia Gabriel. Margaret was an employee for the Internal Revenue Service before her retirement.

She enjoyed cooking for her family, traveling, playing cards and tending to her garden. But above all, she was truly dedicated to her family. Margaret was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her two loving daughters, Susan Reynolds and her husband Frank of Stratford and Karen Chrisey and her husband Jeff of Pennsylvania, four grandchildren, Douglas Reynolds and his wife Amanda, Ashley Reynolds Albertelli and her husband Matthew, Meghan Yost and her husband Erich, and Caitlin Chrisey, and a great- granddaughter, Margaret Marie, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Joseph Gabriel and two sisters, Mary DeLelle and Dora Pavia.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday morning January 4, 2019 from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT. Private funeral services will follow. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492.
