Obituary of John Jardin

Bridgeport Resident John Jardin Jr., age 94, of Bridgeport, a retiree of Remington Arms Company, died on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Maefair Health Care Center. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts on September 1, 1917, he was a son of the late Maria Neves Jardin and John Jardin Sr. He was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran and was predeceased by his wife, Matilda. Survivors include his beloved daughter, Deborah Cerino and her husband Mark of Trumbull, a brother, Alfred Jardin of Portugal and two sisters, Maria and Eliza, both of Venezuela, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 10 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11 a.m. St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment with Military Honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
