Obituary of Alissa S. Ozolins

It is with sadness that the family of Alissa S. Ozolins announces her peaceful passing on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the age of 60 after an incredibly brave and admirable fight against brain cancer. Alissa will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband and best friend of 35 years, Ervins Ozolins, of Trumbull CT, and her children Amanda, Andrew and daughter in law Aubrey, and Erica Ozolins. Alissa was born on January 10, 1958 in New York, New York, to Sherry (Linn) Berke and Martin Linn.

She showed impressive ambition from a young age and turned her joy for solving problems into a college degree from Stony Brook University in engineering, and while there met the love of her life and husband, Erv. She was lucky to find her passion in life working for a pharmaceutical company selling medication, mentoring new employees and going above and beyond winning numerous awards and trips. She loved going to work and called her job her favorite hobby, she truly enjoyed the ability to make a positive difference in peoples lives each day. Although she took great pleasure in her job, she also took great pride in watching her three children grow up and was always a best friend and mentor to them as well.

A celebration of Alissa's life will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
