Obituary of Robert W. Corris

Robert William Corris, age 50, of New Bern, North Carolina passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at his home. Born on October 6, 1967 in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late Robert John and Carol Cyr Corris. After graduating from Notre Dame High School in Fairfield, CT, Bobby served Our Country proudly in the United State Marine Corps. He was an accomplished Automobile Technician. He enjoyed computer technology and restoring vintage automobiles.

In addition to his daughter, Mykaela, Bobby is survived by his two sisters, Donna Smith and her husband Gregory and Theresa Jarzynski and her husband Peter, his nephews Jeffrey Jarzynski and his wife Kelly and Christopher Jarzynski (USN), a great-nephew Zachary Jarzynski, his aunts and uncles Jacqueline McCarthy, Don & Helen Corris, Richard Corris, Jack and Dotti Corris and John Bertig, as well as numerous cousins.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM in St. Andrew’s Church, 435 Anton Street, Bridgeport, CT. Inurnment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Monroe, CT. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to a charity of your choice in memory of Bobby.
