To the family of Mike Conway, I was saddened to learn of Mike's passing earlier this week and wish to extend my deepest condolences to you all. I had known Mike for many years through our work at the Fairfield County Medical Association where he made many contributions toward its smooth operation. We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Michael yesterday at Bridgeport Hospital after a brief illness. Michael was the very capable executive director of the Greater Bridgeport Medical Association and the associate executive director of the Fairfield County Medical Association from 1984 to his retirement in 2001. After that, Michael remained a member of the GBMA Council until just a few years ago. In total, Michael served GBMA for 32 years. Michael's commitment to helping other people was legendary. He was the epitome of a gentleman. A life well lived may he now rest in God's peace. Mark Thompson

I am deeply sorry to hear of the loss of Lorraine Conway's husband, Michael. Although I never met him, I feel as though I knew him through Lorraine, his wife of many years, at a AAUW scholarship award dinner at the Blue Goose in the spring of 2017. She spoke very highly of him, and stood by his side, all through his illness. My sympathy goes out Lorraine and the whole family at this difficult time. In sympathy! Sue DelBianco

Dear Lorraine, My deepest condolences for the passing of your husband Michael. I received an email of his obituary from Lands End Assoc. in Tolland, MA where I have my lake Home near your stepson Tom. Coincidentally, I believe you might be the same Lorraine Jarusinsky who lived near me in Stratford in the 50s and 60s. I was a friend of Diane’s also. The years have gone by quickly but I still have wonderful memories of Stratford and my dear childhood friends. Sending you sincere wishes for peace and wonderful memories. Marjorie
