Obituary of Nicola Vaccaro, D.C.

Nicola Vaccaro D.C., age 50, of Monroe, beloved husband of Jean N. Bassani, passed away suddenly on Sunday December 17, 2017. Born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada on April 23, 1967 he was a son of the late Salvatore Vaccaro and Mariantonia Stranges Vaccaro.

In addition to his beloved wife of 22 years, Jean, survivors include two loving children, Isabella Maria and Chiara Domenica, sisters, Mary Elia (Ron Elia) and Clara Mignelli (Carmen Mignelli),his father and mother-in-law, Vincent and Nancy Bassani as well as many nieces, nephews, colleagues, and friends. He is also predeceased by his brother, Antonio Vaccaro.

Nicola graduated from N.F.C.V.I High School, University of Western Ontario, and Logan College of Chiropractic. He practiced for 24 years, most recently in two offices located in Monroe, CT and Mamaroneck, NY. He was an avid athlete and enjoyed the outdoors. Known by family, friends and colleagues as a man of great integrity, deep faith, and with a heart of generosity and service to others. His wife and two daughters were the world to him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all those whose lives he has touched.

Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Jude Church, 505 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT on Friday December 22, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday December 21st from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
