Obituary of Rose Ferreri

Resident of Shelton Rose Ferreri, age 85, of Shelton, a homemaker, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 in Griffin Hospital. Born in Villafrate, Province of Palermo, Sicily on January 12, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Francesco and Eugenia Eterno Santomauro. She was pre-deceased by her husband Gaetano Ferreri, two brothers Giovanni and Jack Santomauro. Survivors include her loving children, Francesco Ferreri and his wife Jo-Ann of Seymour, Rita Leonardi and her husband Francesco of Oxford, Joseph (Pino) Ferreri and his wife Paula of Southbury and Maria Giovanna Sanzo and her husband Vito of Shelton, a brother Salvatore Santomauro of Bronx, New York, 11 grandchildren, Christian, Michelle, Stefanie, Nora, Gina, Ilario, Gaetano, Stefano, Alyssa, Anthony and Ashley, two great grandchildren, Gabrielle Sofia and Leo Harry as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 8:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Shelton for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
