Obituary of Oriana Davidovich

Oriana Davidovich, age 92 of Lancaster, Ma. passed away on Saturday, December 2 at the home of her daughter Susan, surrounded by her family. She was the loving and devoted wife of the late Aleksandar Davidovich with whom she shared 62 years of marriage. Born in Santiago de Chile, the daughter of the late, Oriana and Melquizedek Maqueira, she spent her childhood in Santiago de Chile and graduated with a degree in nursing from the Medical School Roffo Institute of the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She resided in Lancaster, Massachusetts since 1982. Oriana dedicated her life to her family and God's work through witnessing for our Lord Jesus Christ as a registered nurse and a Pastor's wife in several Seventh Day Adventist mission fields and churches across three South American countries as well as more than four decades in the US. Oriana's intense devotion for her husband and children were second only to her love for Jesus. She is survived by the love she imparted to her 5 children Maritza, George, Susan, Vivian and Aleksandar; their spouses George, Zori, Ed and David; 10 grandchildren, George, Frederick, Charles, Carol, Enrique, Janelle, Nicole, Alex, Erika and Zachary; and 9 great grandchildren, Andreas, Kimberly, Kaelyn, Stella, Spencer, Samuel, Cole, Blake and Luke; and several nieces and nephews in Argentina. Her love for God and her passion for serving others will be a source of continued inspiration to all who knew her. In her final hours, Oriana was at peace and comforted by her deep conviction that someday soon, we will all be reunited in God's heavenly love. A service will be held Monday December 4 at 10:00 am. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull followed by the burial. Her final resting place until she is awaken by the return of our Lord Jesus and his angels will be at Nichols Farm Burial Ground on Shelton Rd., Trumbull, Ct.
