Obituary of Rosina M. Russo

Rosina "Rose" Mastronardi Russo, age 91, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Corrado J. Russo, and daughter of the late John and Carmella Tedesco Mastronardi passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Although she was born in Bridgeport on March 11, 1926, Rose was a long-time resident of Trumbull. During the early 1940's, Rose worked for many years at The General Electric Company in Bridgeport. Starting in the 1960's, she was employed as the lead binary operator for Kurt H. Volk in Milford and provided the printing firm with over 25 years of continuous service. Survivors include two loving children, Louis Russo of Trumbull and Patricia Russo-Ostreicher and her husband Jan of Fairfield and three grandchildren, Enrico Belenchia and his wife Elizabeth, Gregory Russo and Marc Russo as well as many nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by a grandson, Steven Belenchia, brothers, Joseph, Anthony and Peter Mastronardi and sisters, Phyllis Federico and Frances Gentile. All funeral services were held in private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
