Obituary of Norma I. Scribner

Norma I. Castro Scribner, age 62, of Seymour and formerly of Bridgeport passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Charles Scribner. Born in Bridgeport on August 1, 1955 she was a daughter of the late Louis and Shirley Tracy Castro. Norma had been employed by the City of Bridgeport Public School System, where she worked in the cafeteria of various Bridgeport Schools. She was a lover of all animals, especially dogs. A devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her beloved husband of 15 years Charles, other survivors include her sons, Jason and Christopher Pucci, her cherished grandchildren, Brianna, Crystal and Austin, her brother, Danny Tracy and her sister, Sue Mims. She was predeceased by her sisters, Joanne and Shirley and brother, Rickey.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Easton. Friends may greet the family on Monday evening from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
