Obituary of Antonia Recine

Antonia (Antoinette) Cefaloni Recine, age 87, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Lino Recine, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017, at Ludlowe Health Care Center, with her loving family by her side. Born in Rippi, Frosinone, Italy on September 15, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Dominic and Maria Cefaloni. A devoted catholic, Antonia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking for her family and loved when the family was together creating memories that would last a lifetime. She will be truly missed by all. Survivors include a loving son Angelo Recine and his wife Sandra of Bridgeport, two cherished grandchildren, Lisa and Lauren Recine, three great grandchildren, Savannah, Mikayla and Juliette, a brother, Nino Cefaloni and a sister, Gina Cavalli, both of Italy, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
